You've heard of "The Devil and Daniel Webster?" Well, meet "The Gollum and Chen Shui-bian."

Chen, in case you were weren't sure, is the creature on the right.

The timely moral of "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring 2001, The Two Towers 2002, The Return of the King 2003, directed by Peter Jackson, written by J.R.R. Tolkien), is that lust for power transforms a human being into a monster.
